Ear surgery (also known as otoplasty or cosmetic surgery for ears) is a procedure that corrects abnormalities of the ears including: protruding ears, abnormally large lobes, lop ears (tips fold down), and shell ear (a condition in which many of the curves and contours are missing).

The imperfections are often cartilage-related, so in many otoplasty procedures, the surgeon will make a minor cut to the back in order to reach the cartilage of the ear.

Buttock lift surgery (also known as a butt lift) improves the tautness and tone of the skin on the buttocks (although it doesn’t typically add structure or volume).  It is not to be confused with buttock implants or body contouring, although it can be done in combination with these procedures.

Buttocks augmentation surgery is performed to round out the buttocks and increase their size.  The procedure involves grafting fat from another part of the patient’s body to the buttocks or inserting an elastomer implant.  Generally taking between 2 and 3 hours, the buttocks augmentation surgery typically requires that the patient receive general anesthesia.

Breast reduction surgery (or reduction mammaplasty) relieves women of the physical and emotional strain that comes from bearing overly large breasts.  Prior to reduction mammaplasty, patients may receive a medical evaluation or baseline mammogram.  Intravenous sedation or general anesthesia keeps the patient pain-free during the procedure.  The plastic surgeon makes incisions into the breast or uses liposuction to remove excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin.  As part of the breast reduction surgery, the surgeon also repositions the nipple and areola, keeping it connected to its original nerves and blood supply, and lifts and reshapes the breast.

Breast lift surgery, sometimes called a mastopexy, lifts and reshapes breasts that have lost shape and firmness due to aging, pregnancy, or nursing.  Although the effects of the procedure are not permanent (since aging will inevitably continue to affect the breasts), it provides temporary respite from the sagging effect exerted by gravity.  With breast lift surgery, women can opt to have the size of their areolas reduced or have their breasts enlarged with implants. Most of the women who opt for breast lift surgery are between 35 and 50 years old.
